Yep, today is my 17th birthday c:
I woke up, mum was up too because she had work.
There was a tin on the table with my presents in, purchased from sainsbury's the night before XD
Not the most spectacular presents, but my dad is "ill" again and it's all snowy, so my mum went out to make sure I had something to open.
But I will go shopping with mum at the weekend: MOTHER DAUGHTER QUALITY TIME.
I got to school and I was a bit late, so lesson 1 was starting. I couldn't find ellie, so I went straight to chemistry but NO ONE WAS THERE. Very suspicious.
Eventually, I found out that today we had a late start due to all the ice. So we missed our last chemistry lesson before the exam D:
The rest of the day....a mixture of half hearted revision, statistics and debatery.
I got a lovely card from eleanor C:
She said that she had forgotten my present though, and that she would bring it in tomorrow.
But then when I got home, ellie kept on texting me about the post.
Turns out that there was an elaborate plan to post my present to me, which included getting my address from nadzirah, and lying about forgetting my present.
I thought it was a bit funny that she had forgotten the present but remembered. Funny, but still plausible.
Sadly, it hasn't arrived yet XD But it still cheered me up, nevertheless.
Nevertheless is all one word you know. It's very long, and some people think it is actually three separate words because those words do exist on their own.
I received some gifts on gaia too, all very kind C:
Some people say "it's just pixels" which is true, but it's still an act of generosity, I feel.
