the way to a die hard martial artist and a simple man VOL.1 the spirit and the soul

this is my art.
i've been through many martial arts, weather from a dojo, a book, or even just television. id rather die than see anyone else hurt...its probably pride or mabye just selflessness...but its my way. the most valuable information i could possibly give would be from my own master Musashi Miyamoto, the inventor of niten ichi-ruy
'the school of two heavens'.
“Generally speaking, the Way of the warrior is resolute acceptance of death”

“In fighting and in everyday life you should be determined though calm. Meet the situation without tenseness yet not recklessly, your spirit settled yet unbiased. An elevated spirit is weak and a low spirit is weak. Do not let the enemy see your spirit.”

let me break these down in my own relations...musashi miyamoto was also an unfinished warrior...don't live to accept death, live to accept life...
in a fight don't be too optimistic, we don't fight to win, we don't fight to earn ranks...hell we don't fight to get stronger...personally i fight for reason, one day ill be well known for teaching the way of existance, the true meaning of life is to just live it...there is no right way. the spirit and the soul are two different things...everyone has there demons weather we can see them or not. your spirit is your every being in the form of your art, when we kiai we aren't screaming to intimidate our enemies, were breathing our spirit. the power comes from the lower gut and enforces the entire torso's power. if you can't show your spirit your better off dead, and thats the spirits demon.- no will in life-
the soul's demon however is more permenant...imagine yourself fighting on the top of a cliff hovering over the fires of hell..all you have is a knife and your fighting your demon (your weakness in life)the deadly sins in other words. if you even have slight doubt you wouldn't be able to fight it...then beat it in life and show no weakness. you think it would never happen but death is only true existence no matter what you believe in. the soul's demon...-weakness in life-.
