These things seem so inhumane
Theses actions
These feelings
These thoughts
How can a heart beat so fast?
How can butterflies fly so high?
How can eyes shine so brightly?
Even on the darkest, loneliest nights?
I guess only thoughts and memories
Can help keep one going
No matter how far the distance
Or the longevity of separation
Its almost like
There are no more sorrowful days
No more aggravation
I feel fine
I don’t want this to change
It’s what I’ve been waiting for
It’s what I need
You’re what I need to keep me going
Your like a sugar cookie
That could hype someone up
For the rest of the day
