(Kebechet's Dorm = 2)
Kebe hugged tightly to her father's torso as he carried her back to her room. This time she really needed to stay to sleep to get all she had just lived and died through sorted out in her head. Kebe blindly kissed her father on the cheek and then snugged down in her covers and shut her eyes. It was time to try and figure things out.
Seth looking like a girl walked into the first year dorm room. He saw Kebe, but was taken back by the sight of Anubis by her side. He ignored them walking towards another girls bed that was close to Kebe's. He took off his backpack and took out his sketch book, to work on until, the death god took his leave. His heart pounded loudly in his ears and his blood seem to warm up. He kept his back towards the two of them but just being in the presents of Anubis made Seth want to lash out, it was all in his mind thou, it was all because of Set breathing hatred for all the other Egyptian gods into him. He slowly rocked himself back and forth thinking what he could do, 'Nothing, there's nothing you can do right now to him. Have to wait, you have a time for the end to all the gods, but it's not now Seth, so shut up and do nothing.' His inner voice was right, with the collar still on Anubis would crush him like a bug, he did have to wait. He bit hard on the inside of his bottom lip, so hard he felt a piece of the flesh rip off, he ate it and kept his tong on the wound savoring the penny taste of blood. He turned to a clean paper to sketch on the image in his mind was as dark as the one in his heart. But all his hand knew to do was make one large dark circle in the middle of the paper, shading it in and shadowing it. He could clearly see things that was suppose to go inside the circle, but they wouldn't all fit and he wasn't going to draw them.
Anubis:Sitting beside Kebechet in her bed, he heard someone take a seat a bed over. He heard the scratch of pencil and crumbling of paper so he opend an eye. 'Ahh, Set's son. Must really not be my lucky day if i seen this many demi-gods.' He thought.
"If you didnt already know, this is the girls dorm room. The boys dorms are on the other side of the hallway." he smirked.
"Other than that, your Set's kid right? Ill remove that collar, and fit you with something less 'painful' if you swear to serve me when I need it." he gloated.
"If not, you might as well leave as my daughter", he looked towards Kebechet,"has died a few minutes ago. But she needs some rest after what she has been through today. Also, tell your dad that I will see him soon enough." He snarled somewhere inbetween.
"Seth!" She thought that was what her father had said instead of Set. Kebe woke up and straighten up in bed her heart skipped a beat her love risked getting in trouble and came looking for her to see how she was doing. "Daddy, what do you mean remove his collar if he serves you? And what do you mean see his father soon enough?"
Seth ingored Anubis and kept his back towards him and contiuned to sketch. 'F you old man, swear to serve you, I won't serve my own father let alone you. The only person in this f-ed up world I would ever think of 'serveing' would be the creature you hold in your arms.' Seth winced at the sharp pain that shot through his collar and through out his entire body. 'And your daughter more then likely died because of you, she would do alot better if you just stayed out of her life. Something I think I can help her with.' Seth took out his ipod and headphones and started listening to ICP. 'I'm not going anywhere old man.' Seth slowly bobbed his head for side to side along with the music. Seth smiled as Kebe started to question her father but kept on ignoring them until he felt it was right or Anubis left.
Anubis:"Fine, if you would rather be with that collar that might end up killing you then so be it. Also, where were you when it all happened? I never saw you around when she fell down a flight of stairs or when she had a seizure. What makes you think that you 'know' whats best for her? What in this world possibly makes you think, that with your so called 'plans' which seems like childsplay compared to what Ive done over the centuries Ive been alive and with all my powers, who the hell do you think makes the daily sacrifice of telling the Egyptian gods not you strike you down right now?" He growled.
Now he calms down and looks at Kebechet, "Hon, what I mean by that is, that if he does a couple errands, not to difficult, then I will release his collar and give him something that will supress his powers until he takes control of it. Although chaos can never be controlled. The least he can do is try." He sighed wishing she didnt hear that.
"Now, with your so called plans of releasing a certain 'power', what makes you think that Kebechet, the only light in your life, what makes you think that she will be safe if you unleash it? You'd be sending billions of innocent souls into eternal damnation and for what? To see her die or to see you lose control? No... I will make sure of that the gods have plenty of reasons to strike you down at the time and place of MY choosing. Since all I hear about in the underworld is those teachers you killed." He snarled and made an echoing eerie whisper, making the shrieks of Seth's teachers come to life the moment he opened his mouth.
"Some gods can die. But death gods, are forever. If you want to be eaten by Babi and Ammut after your death so be it." he growled.
Kebe became very confused and frighten once again by her father Anubis. "What the heck are you saying daddy, Seth's never killed anyone, he wouldn't kill anyone. Why are you doing this, I know you my father and your trying to protect me, but technically you don't really have any more rights to say what's best for me either. Where were you when that dog bit me, where were you when I got stung by a bee at camp and went into shock?" Kebe shook her head, where was this odd confidence coming from she felt it surge through out her whole body. "And Seth what is my father talking about a 'plan' and a collar, and powers?"
Seth rolled his eyes as he half listen to Anubis's preachings. 'Yea death gods live as long as their are lives to take. Gods of darkness and chaos exist as long as there is light and peace in the worlds. Oh sweet naive Anubis, you only think you know who I am.' Seth took off his head phones and placed all his stuff back into his backpack. Out of a weird sense of calm got up off the bed and walked over towards Kebe's bed.
He stood by Kebe's bed, he bent down and whispered into her hear, "I'll tell you everything later, night Light." With that his kissed Kebe's cheek, gazed into the face and eyes of Anubis for a moment or two, then he left the room. He smiled to himself as he walked back towards his drama class.
Anubis:"There are something better left unsaid and there are something that you cant know. That dog was infact a trick by one of the gods trying to get you to fear me. The bee, well, its camp. Everyone gets stung once in a while. I knew it wasnt enough to kill you so I hated myself for not stepping up, but it was too soon. Like Seth said. He will tell you later on. But if you still have questions he did not answer, I will answer them for you. Now rest." He said putting a piece of Kebechet's hair behind her ear.
"I believe that when you dream with a mind full of questions, the truth will come to you in any sort of form." He said kissing her forehead and leaving the room.
Kebe's mind did buzz with tons of questions she wanted to ask both of them, to sort things out, but her father seem to be right. She was always luck at figuring things out in her mind more so they in the outside world. "Okay, daddy, I'll rest." She kissed her father again and laid back down in her bed and closed her eyes, trying to will sleep to come to her.
