The Sky's So Blue and So Am I
The sky is of the brightest blue,
Yet my heart matches a darker shade
I'm having the toughest time getting sleep
Because, of nightmares, I am so afraid
My heart feels sick and heavy,
My mind feels dull and bruised
I guess this is living with the aftermath
Of being so horribly abused.
