I'm getting G-cash for watching a video and other stuff.
Okaaaay...only about 3 cents (3 G-cash) per video, but I didn't have to imput my e-mail or personal information. I just let the video run, and voila--credit. I'm coming to love Gambit and that money tree (and SuperSonicAdds if I'm lucky).
About 2-3 times a day, I can go to gWallet, click "Bing and Decide", and get 20 G-cash just for trying out that Google-esque feature.
I've even gotten huge chunks of G-cash from Super Rewards (30-130 is what I consider "huge" wink just for visiting a website. No personal info required. It's as if they're saying, "Hey, I'll give you a dollar if you visit my site. Pleeeease? I need the attention". I happily complied.
If I had started this whenever it came out, I'd be swimming in the green stuff by now. Oh well, it's my fault for being hesitant. I had fears of viruses infecting my computer, courtesy of the reviews from those first Gaians who tried those first G-cash sponsorship offers. I still have those fears, to some extent. These people aren't getting my address, name, etc. any time soon. YOU HEAR ME, JUNK SCAMMERS?!?!? *shakes fist* I guess not...
*ahem* I plan on using the G-cash only for the zOMG pets and maybe a head-start ticket, if I can scrape together enough. After 3 days of searching, I've received 904 G-cash...I'll get more as soon as Captain Morgan stops running out of videos.
Sure, I could get a gift card, but I have parents who are experts at finding out these kinds of things...plus they don't trust the concept of spending money for virtual currency. I usually agree, but after I read about zOMG's crisis I would've tried to driven straight to Target without freaking out and bought a bunch of them. I seriously need more driving experience to complement my driver's license...that I never use.
I remember free, temporary G-cash handed out during Promageddon. There were many disputes over the validity of just handing out this free, virtual currency, but I don't remember what the basis for the arguments were. I think it was something along the lines of cheating out those who used real money to buy the cash.
It makes me wonder if there have any debates over sponsored offer G-cash. Idk.
I'm fighting off the temptation to buy those other premium CS items. I'll buy those the traditional way--with good 'ol Gaia Gold. This stuff is going towards zOMG. All of it. I remember being bummed out for not being able to support zOMG with money (besides those pre-game adds), but this is my chance. Pets may suck, like Sweetheart...but eh, I bought it anyways, as a collector's item. I was gonna buy Pets with Gaia Gold, regardless of whether they sucked or not. Maybe I'll indulge a bit when zOMG either gets no more updates or is a successful, self-sustaining MMORPG...yeah, I better hang in there.
Ugh, Captain Morgan is STILL there.
