Diary Entry 1: Rules and Guidelines
I was never the type of person to be very adept at writing journals and relaying intricate information in an appealing, or steady way. I'm not going to be the next Anne Frank (Though some do say I look like her) and it's rather saddening to want to keep a diary, but finding yourself unable to record information day after day, or even finding something to say. So, I decided that I needed a change of pace. I want to keep a journal and my journal wants writing. Well, I'll give it writing, oh, such writing I will give it! It will be delicious! In my journal, anything goes. Poetry, random fiction, the occasional blurb of truth, anecdotes, lyrics to songs, quotes, anything. I figure, either this will be a horrible disappointment, or I will get so much enjoyment out of this that I'll persuade my friends to do the same. There! I have my first entry! Now you see how easy this is! Plus, I won't follow conventional rules and only write once a day, no, if I want to write five hundred entries in a day I will.
