Something was telling me I shouldn't get too bent on the idea that I have schizotypal personality disorder. I was also planning on looking up schizoaffective disorder because i'm pretty sure affect means facial expressions and I have some negative symptoms regarding emotions and showing them. And I knew I read about a schizo-something that made your speech patterns really lyrical in everyday speech, and I'm pretty sure I have that. Now that I'm reading about schizoaffective disorder it seems to fit me to a tee and explains a lot. OCD, major depression and schizotypal personality disorder still didn't seem to cover everything accurately, but OCD and schizoaffective disorder sounds right. It even covers my up and down phases where I would feel really depressed sometimes and not manic but not as depressed other times. Again I'll tell my psychiatrist about my symptoms and not tell him what I think I have. I don't want to mess up his analysis and he does know this stuff way better than I do. We haven't gone over all the symptoms yet, and he didn't seem sure about schizotypal personality disorder either. I'm gonna keep reading about schizoaffective disorder and see how it feels.
