A Lonesome Path Part 1:
The digital world was facing another strife, constant battles between the digimon of light and darkness clashed throughout the vast world of data. The leaders of both sides of both sides was troubled to say the least, they had to manage their troops and make sure that defeat was not an option, but as the way of war is, a loser is always made.
The leaders of the light side, a digimon queen called Ahiru or Ahirumon by some digimon as well as the four sovereigns of the north, west, south, and east, had just accepted a momentary parlay with the leader of the dark digimons.
Waiting inside Queen Ahiru's castle's throneroom, the four sovereigns was mumbling between each other as the queen herself waited for the leader of the dark digimon to show up, she knew the guy too well, but she never spoke of him out of shame, shame to be related to such a digimon. Then suddenly the sovereigns conversation was cut off as the sound of metallic thuds against the floor outside the room came closer, and closer. "He is here!", Azulongmon, the great dragon sovereign from the east spoke. The three others nodded, so did the queen.
Just as they did the doors to the throne room slowly opened, in trotted a dark knight, compared to the sovereigns he was tiny, but his just about 8 ft made him considerably taller than some other digimon of his level. The dark knight's armor was made of a powerful black metal, the chest piece was shaped like a skull with two large red eyes at the skull's eyes. The round helmet had a protective shield the knight could pull down to protect his concealed face, only two glowing yellow eyes gave the impression the knight actually had one. A dark cape flew behind the knight, which was attached to him at his shoulders. Finally and foremost his weapons, two blood red lances that was attached to his hands, each suited for swift, precise, and deadly strikes.
The Knight stopped in the center of room then watched the queen and the four sovereigns in absolute silence. Zhuqiaomon, a large bird like digimon, the sovereign of the south narrowed his eyes at the little knight, "You wanted an audience, i suggest you be quick about it, i don't know if i can resist the urge to attack forever", the large sovereign spoke. The others nodded to the sovereign's statement, except for the small knight.
"Skullknightmon, you wanted to speak with us, i hope you won't be wasting our time", Ahiru spoke in a slightly annoyed tone, she really didn't like that dark knight, and she had good reason to as well. Skullknightmon nodded, "Very well sister, hopefully i won't..." Skullknightmon spoke and blinked as he saw his sister's reaction, she really didn't like to be called that, did she now? Skullknightmon took a deep breath then looked to all the sovereigns and Ahiru, "We've been fighting for about four months now... neither of us have shown much progress doing all this, furthermore your troops must be just as tired as mine, which brings me to my reason for an audience..." Skullknightmon said, having walked a bit around in the room as he had spoken, then stopped as he paused. "Which is...?" Baihumon, the great beast sovereign asked and cocked his head slightly.
Skullknightmon turned his head to the sovereigns and his sister, he had never thought he'd say what he was about to say, "... We can stop this war right here, right now, there would be no more deaths, no more suffering, only peace... but i ask two things for this..." Skullknightmon spoke and turned to face the sovereigns and Ahiru fully. "And that would be, us bowing to you perhaps?" Azulongmon spoke and now also narrowed his eyes at the small knight. Skullknightmon shook his head though which made confused all in the group. "No, nothing of the sort great Sovereign, what i ask is two things, that the dark digimon is given more land and the will be treated better, and finally..." Skullknightmon spoke then narrowed his own two glowing eyes at the group, "... That Kanna, your daughter, Ahiru, is to follow me".
