Part 3

Ch25
Apple started to move again, she slowly got herself to sit up again. Zev and Moonshine had eventually fallen asleep. Apple sighed and looked out the window behind Zev. The sun started going down past the hills and her eyes widened with worry.
"Zev! Zev wake up!" She tried to whisper loudly hoping no doctor could hear her. Zev snored and rolled in his chair. "Zev! The sun is going down wake up!" Apple looked for something she could throw at him, nothing. Apple very slowly moved her legs over the edge of the bed. She put her feet down against the cold floor and held onto the bad as she slowly stood up. "Zev!" She said a little bit louder.
She very carefully balanced herself her side feeling very strange with only a twinge of pain thanks to Moonshine. Apple slowly walked over to him and put her hand on his chair for balance. "Zev wake up." She said into his ear, and he flinched.
The sun went down over the hills and Apple's heart stopped. Zev opened his eyes and looked up at Apple, "W-what are you doing?" he held onto her hand making sure she wouldn't fall over.
"Zev the sun is going down. I had to get up to tell you." Apple looked down at him worried. "How does your stomach feel?"
"Oh.. oh" Zev sat up and rubbed his eyes bringing her over to the front of him. "I'm fine. Moonshine got rid of the curse." Zev looked at Apple.
"She did?" Apple looked at him surprised. She stumbled over his foot losing her balance and he pulled her towards him making her land on his lap.
"That was close." He laughed.
"Yeah." She laughed back then stopped, "So the curse is gone?"
"Yes."
"Well why aren't we celebrating. Now you don't have to worry about it anymore." Apple smiled brightly leaned over and kissed him. He blushed surprised and stared back her her a second. She looked back at him then blushed furiously herself seeing hoe surprised he was, "Sorry I uh.."
"N-no don't be sorry I'm just.. glad." Zev explained what that old man John had told him the night he was bitten and she smiled. "So I was worried that you didn't have the same feelings for me anymore and why are you smiling so much."
Apple hugged him, "Because I love you. I don't care if you're a werewolf or not. You were there for me when I needed you. Without you I probably would've been dead."
"You wouldn't be shot actually."
"I'd be alone. That's worse than death." Apple leaned against him
"What about Moonshine?" Zev held onto Apple.
"Well I'm sure she'd be a good friend but, I'd never be complete without you Zev."
She snuggled into him and he hugged her tight smiling. He tilted her head up and kissed her. She kissed back leaning into him as Zev wraps his arms around her hips. Moonshine sat on top of the chair having been awake the whole time. She thought it was sweet, a bit corny, but nice.
When Zevs' hand slid into the back of Apples hospital gown, Moonshine almost fell off the chair. "Whoa there! Hah, yes this is all very 'touching', but you both need sleep. Especially you Apple." Moonshine put her paws on Zevs' head and looked down at him. He looked up at Moonshine as Apple almost jumped out of his lap. He laughed pulling his hands away.
Zev picked up Apple, who's face was bright red and placed her back into the hospital bed. He tucked her in.
"I swear you're starting to sound more and more like Granny." Apple looked at Moonshine. She smiled back with a toothy grin. Apple looked up at Zev.
"Oh uh.. I'm sorry for snapping at you earlier today."
"It's ok, you had a rough couple of days." Zev smiled.
"Yeah I know.. but hospitals just remind me of when my dad died. It put me in a bad mood, but you made me happy again" Apple nodded smiling.
"You made me happy too." leaning in to kiss her again
"I'll say." Moonshine snickered. Zev looked back to Moonshine who was laughing at her own joke and he rolled his eyes.
"Goodnight." He smirked a bit and kisses Apple.
"Night" she smiled kissing back. He went back to his chair as she rolled onto her good side and fell asleep.

Ch26
The next morning they left the hospital. The doctor thought it was a miracle she could even walk again. The town that Apples' house is at is closer than Granny Smith's house so they decided to walk there. They had to take it slow and Zev held onto Apple's hand the whole time but they made it.
Hey house was covered in spider webs and dust. They were also pretty sure they heard a mouse running in there somewhere.
"Moonshine, do you think you could catch that mouse?" Zev asked.
"I may look like a cat, but it doesn't mean I eat like one bub." Moonshine stretched laying down on Apples' love seat.
"Did she just call me bub?" Apple shrugged dusting away the spider webs.
She found out that her bills were over due. Apple had been able to pay them before by letter back at Granny's place but now they were low on money from quitting her job. The next few days Apple and Zev searched and searched for a job having no time to themselves.

One morning Apple was worried about their money situation and made a pie to ease her nerves. Zev got up, got dressed and sat at the table.
"Pie for breakfast?" He laid his head down on the table tired.
"Oh, Yeah I guess. Sorry I just needed to clear my head."
"Don't worry we'll find a job soon." Zev lifted his head
"I know, but even if we do, would it be enough to keep this house or even have food?" Apple sighed taking the pie out of the oven. She cut two slices without letting the pie cool and put them on plates. She placed one in front of Zev and the other in front of herself.
"Hmm..." Zev thought for a moment then took a bite of his scolding hot pie and Apple watched, "Ow-"
"That's it! Sorry too hot?"
"It's ok. Whats it?" He painfully swallowed the bite of pie.
"We can make a bakery! We can sell bread, cookies, pies, oh and croissants." Apple rambled.
"That's a wonderful idea, but where are we going to get the money to build a bakery?"

Ch27
The next couple of days they searched and searched for jobs again or a load of money to be able to create a bakery with. Moonshine lazed around the house all of those days, helping a little bit with the cleaning knowing they are really busy.
Moonshine walked outside to get the mail. She leaped up onto the mailbox and pushed open the mailbox door. Grabbing the letters in her mouth, Moonshine pulled them out reaching her paw over to close the mail box. She padded back inside and clawed open the letters.
"Oh...very interesting." Moonshine smiled.
That night when Zev and Apple got home Moonshine was sitting on the table with the letter in her mouth smiling.
"What's that?" Apple sat down at the table.
"Grandma's will~" She mewed happily. Apple took the letter from her mouth and read it.
"Whats going on?" Zev walked over.
"O-one hundred thousand?! Where on earth did she get one hundred grand?" Apple stared at the letter in awe.
"I recall Granny talking about her late husband and that he was born into a rich family." Moonshine chimed in.
"Oh my god. This fixes everything! Granny gave us one hundred grand." Apple fell back onto Zev who caught her.
"Whoa" He laughed and held her tight.
"We can make the bakery now!" Apple turned around and kissed Zev hugging him tightly and he kissed back holding her close.

Epilogue
Within that month, that's what they did. They added Full Moon Bakery to their house. They sold all kind of bread, cookies, pies, croissants, and cakes. Opening night was a success and everyone in town stopped by. Their lives went on love growing stronger each day. They would sit together up on their roof happily on nights there was a full moon.
