I eyed the blonde as his friends tried tugging him back. Knowing that he won't budge until he gets an answer, I sighed and told him, " You're not allowed to see him at this moment, so you might as well just go back home-" my sentence stopped once I felt a hand lay gently on my shoulder.

Once I had turned to look, I realized it was Kaito. As usual he had a cigarette hanging from between his lips with his unchanging expression. The smell of bleach and burnt food filled the air around me as I opened my eyes to the sight of mother getting abused by our father. As each second passed, his fists slowly stopped making contact towards her face, and yet; the two of us still sobbed.

"So, he really did talk?" My voice came out hoarsly. Soon as I sad that, Meito and Ai walked over to circl around me.

"Man oh Man! That freaked all of us out!" Meito shouted "I'm not sure if I want to hear him talk again or not" The brunette scratched the back of his head and sighed.

I slowly sat up and removed the paper-towel till Mikuo place his hand on my chest. "Please take it easy. You fell pretty hard, and you were yelling in you sleep till Kaito came over and whisper something in your ear-" He paused once I held his hand.

Watching his cheeks lightened to a shade of pink, he quickly took his hand back and fixed his glasses. "Allow me to drive you home. I know it's probably getting late."
