A blue door, framed with angel's light,
Speaks so sweetly to me as I wait in the dark.
I do not know what lurks behind the bushes next to me.
Around the corner my sight is lost.
I cannot see my feet.
With these earbuds in my ears,
Pumping lyrical conversations,
I fade too into the dark.
Yet, the door calls.
The light reaches down the street like a strong vein,
Attempting to pump life back into my dark heart.
"There's so much out there than you know..."
