I visited my cousin today. It was nice to see him. He has grown up so much since the last time. I'm sure Me and Nik have grown also. I remember running wild in the woods, just us kids when were younger. Laughing and fighting and racing. I never told him he was like one of my best friends. Now I hardly ever see him. We've grown apart, and though we talk and play, this ackward space between us steals away my old playmate. I saw some old friends that I haven't talked to in years. I didn't say hello, but I watched them a while. The three of us had been inseprable in school, and now, they're hanging out with out me. I just smiled and left.

I look back at so many people I've left behind, who's left me in their past also. It's sad really. I don't hang on to my child hood like some people do, I let things change, but I just wish they didn't have to sometimes. These kids we all used to be, I look at them, I look in the mirror, and I see young adults. We arn't innocent and carefree like we used to be.

I can look around me now, and see it still happing. I have friends around me now, that everyday, I see them slip away, just a little at a time. I talk to them all the time, but I can see them grow, and I sadly just watch. Becuase what can I do. I can't even help the one person in my life that can help me. All I can do I do imagine his pain. I'm just watching time pass by me, letting go of my presents, everythings that's so quickly become my past.
