So, I had today off! I was looking for a nice, warm, long lie in, but sadly I was woken up by my phone ringing at mid-day. It was James, one of my very good friends':
Funky:Eh? What? Hello?
James:Alright man? Hows it going?
Funky:Eh, how's what, where....who are you again?
James:It's James, James from school... You ok man???
Funky:What School?
James:The same school you and I have been going to for the last 5 years...
Funky:Right, right, I've got who you are... now what do you want? It's like 7 in the morning!?
James:More like 12...
Funky:More like 12 what, I haven't been in secondary education 12 years?
James:Hours man, hours.
Funky:But, but... you said we'd been going there for 5 years?
James:It's mid-day ok! Now where are you?
Funky:Bed. My nice warm bed... Its how late?
James:Mid-day. We're supposed to meet at one thirty...
Funky: * eek * Be there in 5 minutes...

Yes, I was in bed at mid-day, and yes I had to meet my friend in less then two hours. Morning, to me, but the first two hours of the afternoon to you were a blur. I managed to get a lift to the shops, and was actually early. After a few minutes of christmas shopping I felt like someone was jumping up and down on my head... wearing running spikes. We got the shopping done, grabbed some food, and headed to the bus station, where we had just missed the last *fast* bus back to where I live, so after a twenty minute wait we caught the slowest, most expencive bus in the world back to my house - The bus driver told us that it would be cheaper to buy an all day travel card, rather then paying for a single fair - we arrived home just over an hour and fifteen minutes later...
So, after my dog tried to attack James, we settled down with a beer and a Ps2, and played the next few hours away - we do ususally get up to more interesting stuff! And I've just come back from dropping him off at his house.
All in all, not a bad day - maybe tomorrow will be better?

My friends and I always walk everywhere. Unless it's to Manhattan. or something.
