Dear Journal,
Today I start anew, gone is the girl of my past and her insecurities. Behind me are the shadows and broken fragments of childish desires and fruitless dreams. I miss some of the endeavors for sure and though some memories are fondly thought of they are best left where they belong.
Today I am a woman with faith in her husband, love for her child, and pride in her life. I have come back to build my love for writing and spend time with old friends in a nostalgic way.
This year I hope to grow and learn, and have this little journal to help me keep my goals.
