Some people here just really steam my broccoli mad .

The one of the few days that I venture into the Chatterbox...

It was a giveaway thread in the CB. I posted and had many discussions with many people and made many friends over the course of 2-3 hours. The thread creator seemed to had disappeared for the most part, so I just assumed that nothing actually was going to be given away, but what the hell- I've made friends and friends are more important to me than gold and items. So in one post, I just posted my thoughts about my assumptions, then BAM out of the blue he shows up and I am flamed by him for calling him a "liar." Then he goes off flaunting how he's given away, "so much s**t" in his other giveaway threads.

What the ********. Dude, I kept your ******** thread alive. Don't go off dissing me because of a simple assumption. Plus, it's the CB. Many assumptions can be made of the CBs reputation; I guess that's why I hang about in the GD. At least with GD replies you can just shrug them off because, well, it's the GD. Nothing can be taken seriously in the GD anymore. The CB on the other hand has turned into a cesspool of touchy expencive Gaians who try to "rid it of it's filth" and newbies looking to make gold. And that has begun to sicken me. I always knew, ever since I joined Gaia, that the CB was a can of spam and that was why I never posted in there when I was new. It scared me, it moved very fast, and I was either being yelled at by someone with a Devil Tail or being begged for every penny that I had by someone who just joined a few hours ago. It's nauseating to think about.

And that was when I decided to check out the GD. It had a reputation for being harsh, but I felt that I had seen enough in the CB to be able to brave the harsh words of the GD regs. Old GD was better than new GD. Old GD had (somewhat)nice Prommies, now they're all in your face for a single typo. New GD has gotten very touchy, and it seems as though the CB has overflown into the GD on somedays.

Also, what is this about an AT vs. GD war? Are we at war? I haven't really posted a lot anywhere for a while, I've just been vend-whoring. I frequent the GD more than I do the AT, but I think it's just a war of the egos. Everyone in the GD thinks highly of themselves, but everyone in the AT thinks that because they dress well, they earn more respect for their looks. GDers gain respect from their witty remarks and quick replies to threads, then once you gain popularity you're at the top of the food chain. Which is where our reputation of being assertive assholes comes from. But what ever happened to those good old GD regs, such as Conan? He seems to have dropped off the face of the GD, and I haven't seen him anywhere since he entered the AvA.

So I guess the question is raised, what is happening to Gaia? Why is everyone being so harsh lately?

I feel better now that I have written about that. I don't care if the giveaway guy comments on this or not. I'm not taking a stab at you, and I never was. You just assumed too much of my assumption.
