July was a stressful month. It also went by pretty fast. Still feeling the stress, though. But when am I not feeling stress? Health-wise I think I did pretty well. *spins* Sleep, however, has been another story. Sleep enjoyed eluding me on several occasions. I would take some sleeping pills, but I hate how groggy they make me. I stay in a terrible state all day and when my mind actually starts to wake up it's already time for me to head on to bed. >_< Frustrating.

Blah.


I'm also back to questing more seriously in order to save up for my art contest. Averaging and adding the items and gold I have accumulated for it (I already added in the gold I made from Sabin's recent art contest), I just need about 500k more. That is... if I don't exclude the Devil Tail I was suppose to get from TodesEngel. He won my art auction by autobuying with a Devil Tail, but he disappeared a few days afterward and has been missing for two months now. I don't know what to do. I had been hoping to use that DT for my contest, but as it stands now, with no possible way to contact Todes, it looks like I've been bumped back to needing around 4500k. Frustrating. He won three images, I have half the art completed, but I don't even know if I should bother finishing them. I don't think he'll even get to see them.

Several have suggested I have another art auction. Dunno... I feel reluctant to go through with another one. A few others have suggested commissions. But I really don't know what my art is worth. I don't want to be one of those people that charge exorbitantly for art when it's not worth that much. But I don't want to be gipped by spending a lot of time for really low pay. Last time I went into the art pricing subforum people were telling me that my group art was only worth about 10k. Yet I see people getting 30k+ for a waistup single.


...so yeah. I have no idea what I'll do. I'm back to needing to make a bunch of gold/items for my art contest. Still not positive what to use for a main prize. None of the art contests that are ending in the next month or two inspire me. I would love to get my contest underway by August (*laughs*), but I just don't see that happening.

And I wish I could go on a vacation. I would love to take a trip back to Alaska. *continues to dream*
