Light, after 2 years of traveling and gathering intel from villages he had come to, had reached a dead end which led him to the Twin Crown Peaks. "Great, I follow the advice, and it leads me here!" Sighs Light as he sits down under the shade of a tall tree. He then falls asleep as he ponders about his next move. He then wakes up several hours later "Oh great...Lost track of time...Ive got to get go..." His sentence was cut off when something hit him hard in the back of the head. He then lost consciousnesses and drifted off into a dreamlike state. In his dream, he was floating on a cloud, the cloud then drifted down towards the ground, into a forest. As the cloud guided him towards the center of the forest, he could see a bright light emanating from an unknown source, as he came closer he could feel a bad pain in the back of his head, becoming even more painful as he got closer to the light. He was just about to enter the light when he was snapped back into reality, the pain in his head telling him he was still alive. His hands and feet were bound by a rope, and someone had also blindfolded him by the look of things because everything was dark except for a few little holes where moonlight was visible through the cloth. Just then he herd a voice say "What are you planning to do with him?" then another one replied "I have something special in mind for our guest." The first one seemed familiar in some way, he just couldn't put his finger on how though. But before he could think of how, the blindfold was suddenly torn off of Light's face, it took his eyes a few seconds to adjust but he was able to make out 3 shadowy silhouette. Just then, the one on the right came closer and and lowered himself down to eye level. the figure then said "Ah...Finally awake are we? Good...Wouldn't want you to miss out on the 'plans' we have in store for you..." Just then, the figure became completely visible, and Light realized who it was. "...V-Vin-Vincent?..." Said Light still trying to recover from the pain in his head. "Ah...You remember me...Good! I have to pay you back for hitting me back at the monk monetsary you little git!" He then drew his gun but the middle figure quickly ran up beside him and hit his hand out of the way. "Hey! What was that for Kita?" Said Vincent as he grabbed his from the ground and then holstered it. The figure became slightly more illuminated as she came closer and said to Vincent "The master wants to take care of this matter personally..." She said in a cold voice. Kita was a slender women black hair and green eyes, She was rather tall compared to Vincent and she was clad in black leather armor which was usually worn by archers. She then turned to the third figure and said "Master, hes awake..." The figure then approached Light in a black cloak and high leather boots that covered his leg just below the knees. "Its been a long time...hasn't it Light..." He said as he came closer. The figures features became more distinctive as he came closer, Red eyes, blue hair, and the hilt of a sword poked through his cloak. "Who...who are you?" Said Light thinking the person was mistaken because Light had never seen the person in his life. "Oh, sorry, I had forgotten to introduce myself...I am Ryuichi Yamagi but Ryu for short. I am also your only living blood relative." He said as he bent down so he was at eye level with Light. Light then looked at the man with a confused look and said "Only living relative? So what does that make you? My Cousin? My Uncle?" He said somewhat confused "No you idiot, I'm your brother." Light then said "Oh, that would have been my next guess." Ryu then sighed and said "Enough chatter! I have plans for my brother, but before I carry out those plans, I shall give you the opportunity to join me, seeing as you have shown that you have some skills seeing as you managed to thwart Vincent's attempt to steal an important treasure from the monks awhile back." Vincent then shouted "That was sheer luck, he caught me by surprise while I was interrogating that one kid!" Vincent the twisted his face in anger and stomped off in another direction, uttering a number of curses as he did. After watching Vincent stomp off, Ryu turned back to Light and said. "Ive wasted enough time, time get rid of you..." He then reached for his sword and dashed towards Light at unimaginable speeds and then rammed Light in the chest with the hilt of his sword, Light lost consciousness for the second time that day, all went black. He then awakened much later by Kita, who had splashed a bucket of ice water on him. Kita turned her head to her right and nodded at Ryu who was standing at her right. "Ah...Sleeping beauty is awake I see." He said with a small chuckle. Light looked at him and said "What is the meaning of this? Why have you brought me to such a location?" Ryu didn't answer, he just looked out at the rising sun. the area that Light saw before him was a rocky mountain peak, and by the looks of it, it was the very top of the Twin Crown Peaks themselves. The peaks themselves were slightly drooped over one another, and below the peaks was a enormous gorge that was said to be bottomless. Ryu then stirred from his fixation on the sun and said "You know brother, I wish we had gotten to know each other better, it would make me feel less bad about what I'm about to do to you..." He said as he walked over, grabbed Light by the neck, and walked him over to an outcropping that stood over the enormous gorge. "Say hi to our parents for me Light, you'll be seeing them shortly..." Ryu then stopped for a second and said "No, let me rephrase that...When you see the bottom of the gorge, be sure to say hi to it, so I know as to how long it is to the bottom!" Ryu then shoved Light to the ground, and took out an odd looking pair of white gloves, both of which had a diamond shaped symbol on them, somewhat like a pentagram of some sort. He then put the gloves on, and grabbed his sword and sliced open the back of Light's shirt. He then sheathed the sword and grabbed at Light's back, but didn't touch him at all. But, all of the sudden, Light felt an excruciating pain coming from his back, as though his spine were being ripped out, but worse. Black clouds started forming all around as Light yelled in pain. Lightning started to crash around them, and the ledge they were on shook as this happened. The pain became worse with every passing second, and rocks were now starting to explode around them and fly skyward, as though the world were about to end. Then, Ryu laughed, in triumph and said "So, these blasted things actually do work!" He shouted as the sound of tearing flesh and breaking bone could be heard echoing throughout the air. Light could feel blood coming out of his back in small torrents as he laughed, the pain fading as he started to lose consciousness for the third time today. Light looked back at Ryu to see he was holding a wing in both of his hands, both different looking from one another. One looked as though it belonged to a demon, the other, an angel. Light had no idea what was going on as he tried to crawl towards the edge of the outcrop to get away from Ryu, his senses begining to fail. He then made it to the edge and fell over, losing consciousness as he did. Ryu watched his brother fall and said "Good riddance...That will stop that pest from meddling in my plans once and for all!" He then turned to leave, his subordinates following him as he started down the mountain and vanished into thin air. As Light's body began to fall farther down the seemingly endless gorge, he came to for about a few seconds. During that few seconds, he could have sworn he saw a cloaked figure above him, reaching out to grab him, but to him, he thought this was either a dream or a hallucination brought on by blood loss and impending death, but it was not. The mysterious figure had saved Light and pulled him into a cave. The figure then said something to Light, but he could not understand it due to his current state. The figure than lifted Light and brought him deeper into the cave until they reached a finely carved oak door. The figure pushed the door aside to reveal a room with a large pool in the middle which was fed by various spouts on top of stone columns built to look like water sprites pouring water into the pool with jars. The pool itself glowed with a mysterious light blue light that seemed to come from the water itself. The figure then went towards the pool and submerged Light in its waters. Light sunk a few feet before the water around him started to spark and fizzle around him which created an immense white light. Light's wounds started to heal up as this happened, and he started to regain consciousness. When he realized he was under water, he quickly kick to get to the surface. When he did, the cloaked figure was standing there facing Light in silence. Light broke the silence and said "Who are you?" But before Light could say anything else, the figure stepped on a switch hidden in the ground. All of the sudden, the water around Light formed into a swirling whirlpool that sucked Light in. Light was then forced under and forced through a series of water ways before he saw an opening at the end of one and was pushed through it by the water. Light was greeted by the night sky and a severe falling sensation which was the result of being spewed from a small waterfall that was part of the water system. Light then landed in a small spring that had formed to the side of one of the twin peaks known as the Aura spring, which was legendary for its waters healing properties. Light exited the water and thought "Who was that? And why did they save me?" He thought as he rubbed the area that Ryu had tore those wings from "And what did Ryu do to me?" He said aloud as he walked away from the springs saying to himself "This puzzle is getting bigger and bigger, and there are a lot of missing pieces. I must find them!" He said as the sun started to rise on the horizon.
