Can you believe it has been almost a year since I've been able to update my journal? I've been so busy keeping shop and meeting many people here in Aekea! I got to meet the famous Ian at his trial, I think he even smiled at me! Can you imagine?!
I've been working hard, trying to get enough money to get that labcoat I've wanted. I haven't quite made it yet which means I won't be able to return to Isle de Gambino for good yet and take care of my parents. There fish market has been shut down, Old Man Logan is just too popular and everyone travels to do business with him. Little Mom and Pop shops aren't doing well anymore. Everything has become so big and corperate now, no chance for the little guy.
I feel bad for Mama and Daddy but maybe it's time they retire. I've got my own shop now, sister's married someone to take care of her. We can handle ourselves and we can help them out. They're just so stubborn.
