Like a manikin i stand there as ever1 takes turns. wondering, who’s gunna swing next? but thats the least of my concerns. Every day i wonder whos the foe and whos the friend, as the rain clouds come out to play again. As the rain falls, I imagine each tiny drop as one of my troubles, and every huge puddle as none other that a hope. As I wake up from my comforting bed, despite all the ‘’he said, she said’’, I put on a happy face, and take my place as the cheerful little girl they all know me as. But its what they don’t kno that’s hurts the most. Im crying on the inside and laughing on the out. I feel like im throwing a party with two hosts: emotions and mixed. I hear everyone say, ‘’unless its broken, it doesn’t need to be fixed.’’ well call the mechanic people, I have him a job. Its funny how the sweetest people can turn out to be the angriest mob. Once I tell someone how It is, they say, ‘’ Who would’a knew?’’ and im just standing there whipping the tears off their shoe. Be strong my friend, let the hatred go and the blessings in. Despite all that has went down in the book of my life, nothing, not once, not yet has stopped me from being who I am today, whether the sky is sunny or grey. I have very few regrets. So far, all my life has done is humbled me greatly, and with a positive attitude, I try my best to show gratitude, to not only the friends, but even the foes, for did not God say to treat you neighbors as u wish to be treated? I don’t know about you, but instead of being avoided, id rather be greeted. Dr. Martian Luther King said we were all equal, and by his word I stand. With sister liberty hand in hand.
