Nyaaa, looks like I spoke too soon in my last entry, for happiness was lived shortly. About a week later after our safe return home, dad started to feel sick again with nausea and common things like those, so at first we didnt pay it much attention, thinking it was no big deal, but boy were we all wrong.
After that, dad just started to get more and more sick, till he was terminal ill and finally passed away 3 days ago. His burial ended yesterday (March 10, 2005) and it was really sad to see him depart, but considering how much he was deteriorating, I'm more relieved, rather than sad, cuz he's not suffering anymore. Nevertheless, I'll miss you old man, vaya con Dios and hope you're enjoying some great drinks up there, courtesy of The Big Man and his holy bar up in the sky.
So what's the lesson from this kids? Smoke KILLS and its not worth choking your lungs with it just to look cool, so you better quit or at least moderate ur smoking while you still have time.
And thus, this brings final closure to this chapter in my life... a sad chapter indeed, but now that's all left for me is to carry on with life and his legacy. Peace out you all.
