Taste of a Tear
A tear is a cry from your soul it may be silent
It maybe loud
Biter as salt as bitter as grief
Sweet as sugar as sweet as joy
It seems like every bit of you
Is mixed in with the salt and water
Both tears of grief and joy
Derives from the deepest part of you
One tear is made to caress your cheek
The other is to be wiped away by a loving friend
To see all the tears of grief that I have shed
Could fill the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Ocean
The tears of joy that I have shed
Could only fill the Mediterranean Sea
Don’t be afraid to cry
To shed your tears
Let them fall whether bitter or sweet
Let them fall and water the earth
