Well this is probably old news to most people, but I have finished reading Eragon by Christopher Paolini and I am almost done with Eldest. Both are very good books. I love the whole idea of this new and beautiful world of Alagaesia(sorry i can't put the accent over the 'e' like I wish that I could).
In speaking of these stories, as most who have read the book already know, I was absolutly appalled by the representation of Eragon. The movie version went WAY too fast and just leaped through the story without giving the viewer a real look into the actual goings-on of the story. One thing that really stuck out to me was when(in the movie) Eragon was helping Saphira to fly and when she did and flew up into the clouds, she rapidly grew to like ten times her previous size in the time span of twenty seconds. By doing that, they condenced the story time of a few months into that twenty seconds.
Also they left out several important people that have significant impact in Eldest. Incuding Jeod, Elva, and even Katrina is important because she is what drives Roran so hard into leading the villagers of Carvahall to Surda. They even failed to properly introduce the important leaders of each group Eragon met, like Hrothgar, leader of the dwarf clan Durgrimst Ingeitum(sorry again for the lack of accent).
Another thing was the obvious attraction that was forming between Eragon and Arya in the movie. You could tell they made Arya's character closer to Eragon. She seemed to indiscretly like him as much as he liked her.
And at the end of the movie Eragon didn't even get that huge scar from Durza. He hardly got hurt at all! And on top of that, Saphira is the one that almost died! Ha! Don't you just love how they twist and turn the story until its not even close to what it originally was? stare NOT
Yeah, and so even if they do make a movie for Eldest, it will definatly be worse than Eragon was. No doubt about it.

My journal will most likely have what ever I feel like writing at the time ^.^
I don't really write that much so it will be pretty short and about me!(of course)
*read the first entry to learn more about me!* :D

Alone
From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.
Then - in my childhood, in the dawn
Of a most stormy life - was drawn
From every depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:
From the torrent, or the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that round me rolled
In its autumn tint of gold,
From the lightning in the sky
As it passed me flying by,
From the thunder and the storm,
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.
