I started writing it at school i was bored :3
"Follow the yellow brick road?"
Dorothy asked looking at her Totto.
"No!"
"No? but why not?"
Dorothy questioned turning around. Standing now in front of her was Wendy Darling.
"Because Dorothy,"
Wendy begain while walking past her.
"The yelow brick road you see is turning gray."
She had pointed off in the direction Dorothy was originally headed. Dorothy looked up to see what Wendy was seeing, and sure enough that yellow brick road was turning a dull grey.
"Oh no Totto! the yellow brick road's turning grey, how will we ever meet the Wizard of Oz now?"
"You could wait."
Suggested Wendy with a smile.
"Though I don't know when Tinkerbell will get here to re-give the road pixiedust."
"Pixiedust?"
Dorothy repeated very confused.
"Why yes, pixiedust, how do you think it ever got yellow?"
"I never actually thought about it before." admitted Dorothy looking Wendy and hugging Totto tightly.
"How long will Tinkerbell take?"
"I don't know, right now she's helping out Alice, she saw a white rabbit and chased it down a hole which she fell down...well i must go now, best of luck Dorothy."
Wendy curtsyed good-bye to Wendy and faded away on the spot.
"Wait! please..."
Dorothy cried looking helpless, she sniffed and looked down at Totto.
"Oh Totto what do we do now?"
Totto barked and wiggled his way out of her arms and trotted off to a path of flowers. The flowers Totto had sniffed out were singing flowers, Dorothy followed her dog down the path. They listened to the singing but relized that the flowers weren't actually singing, the voices came from a little town made up of paper.
"How very interesting..."
Dorothy commented as young paper boys danced around in the streets and sang the song they had been singing.
"Extry Extry read all about it! a new girl lands on the Evil Step Sisters!!"
A boy with a eye patch yelled, the song had ended and they were trying to sell papers, but they were the only residence.
"Um, excuse me."
Dorothy asked politly walking up to him.
