At a large dock, a girl stood at the edge, with her arms up on the railing. The mixture of night air and mist from breaking waves was refreshing to inhale. The light smell of sea salt lingered in the air...
Why don't you just jump? End your life... nobody will care.
"W-who's there?"
I'm the voice inside your head. My name is Suicide.
"Okay, so what do you want?"
I'm not here for what I want... I'm here for your best interest... I know you feel unwanted, hated... alone...
"What? No, I-I have great friends, they love me alot!"
Are you sure? Or is that what you want to think? You know deep in your heart they hate you... so why don't you just jump?
"I-I... they..."
Do you see yet? Just jump- they'd never miss you. If you really loved them, you would just jump and make their lives easier... Just end your life tonight... they wouldn't care...
"B-But I know they would! Th-they told me so!"
Did they really? Or is that just what you'd like to belive?
"W-well, they didn't really say it, but I know they feel that way!"
Really? I can see your memories... your friends have no respect for you... it seems like they use you...
"B-but... I..."
Tears slowly formed in her eyes as it dawned on her... her friends had always used her, she had never wanted to belive it, but it was the truth... She looked down at the waves with a sad smile on her face. This girl was a selfless person, and always put everyone and everything in front of her.
"W-would it really make them happier...? I always thought they loved me... but I always felt another side to them... Maybe you're right..."
Then just jump... they might like you then... End it all tonight...
"I guess this is the end... thank you for the help, Suicide..."
The girl slowly climbed onto the railing and made herself fall backwards and headfirst into the ocean... Her last thought was hoping her friends would be happy that she wasn't a burden to them anymore...
