Film- Lucky Number Slevin Director- Paul MaGunigan Stars- Morgan Freeman, Lucy Liu, Bruce Willis, Ben Kingley and Josh Hartnett
Movie rating- 9/10
First off, if you haven’t heard of this movie, I’m not surprised. It wasn't half as well advertised as it should have been, but don't let that put you off!
Josh Hartnett (Slevin) stars as a man pulled head first into a war that is raging between two of Americas most infamous crime bosses- The Rabbi (Ben Kingsley) and The Boss (Morgan Freeman) by a case of mistaken identity.
Instead of a tux or something else more suited to gangster movies, Slevin is dragged from his friends flat wrapped in a flowery towel. At this point in the film, you have already begun to sympathize with Slevin as he has been mugged, punched and has caught his girlfriend sleeping with another man. But according to him, he expected all this because 'unluckiness comes in threes'.
This quirky, quick and clever without being stupid film is a must see! I suggest you all get your butts of your chairs and go down to your nearest movie store and get this film now!!! (Steal it if you have to!!!) But please don't, because stealing is bad... rolleyes
Were all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.
