A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst, a spark that creates extraordinary results. - Anonymous Only does heroin around seven P.M. Smokes Marij. when he is extremely stressed. Doesn't exactly enjoy parties, drunkards get to be annoying and he can't stand their slurring talk. His passion is kickboxing, but he does it on the side. If he even tried participating now, he would fail the drug test and be sent to jail for sure. Likes to lay under a shady tree in cow pastures, where he can calm down and pretend like there is no danger in the world. Because of dealers, he has to keep others updated. If the dealers don't get their money, bad things will happen. Nothing has ever made him fear for his life more than not keeping people updated and not making the deadline. Once you're part of the dealers little group, you have to keep a bargain that you'll keep them updated and convery the money from your connections to them. Grew up with two loving parents, his mother was a lawyer and his father was a basketball coach. When he was ten, his mother divorced his father because she said he was way too opinionated and stubborn. When his mother left them, Max lost his trust in women. Paragraph Max got into heroin, not because of a bad family upbringing, but because he didn't know how to handle situations. When other guys started picking on him because they knew he had connections, he thought "Why not try it? If they are trying to get under my skin about it so bad, it must be great". His connections were friends that he had for years, but he didn't accept the drugs because he didn't know what his parents would think. But when his father started pressuring him to join to basketball team, because he wanted his song to be a legend like he was, the line was drawn. His father didn't understand how to take a simple 'no' for an answer. He called him defiant and said he didn't know what was best for himself. When Max didn't make the team was when things turned out for the worse. His father had screaming fits, punched him square in the jaw a couple times, and left. His father was all he had. Unfortunately, Max was extremely wrong about the heroin. It not only caused his grades to drop, but he was even more pressured by himself really, to get the drugs from those connections. He didn't know who to turn to after high school, most of his friends left him and he didn't know who to trust. Anyone would turn you in for your own good, he knew that well. The only reason he is going to the ball, is because who knows what could happen? He needed to get his mind off of heroin. He was bound to overdose soon, part of him afraid that he might not make it like many people didn't. Yet, another part of him didn't want to make it. Life had become so overwhelming lately that he didn't know how to handle himself anymore. So maybe, at this dance, something would change.
