I have an ache that just won't go away.
How do I make it through this day?
I felt anger the day you left my side
My anger the kind of which has no shelter to hide

I can't stop crying when I think of you.
All the things we can no longer do
the fear of how life will turn out to be
When you're not standing next to me

i should have put your hand where my heart stands
then mabye you would kind of understand
breaking up in the sunset
the day that would eventually lead to regret

darkness endless darkness with no light
i guess i couldn't hold on too tight
And all the things I never said
I'll never say because you're dead
