pokemon white/black special - about the global link |

The Global Link allows you to connect up with the website over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. This can be done by one of two ways. You can use the feature given by the Pokémon Munna and Musharna. Or you can use the C Gear. Once you sync up you can send across one Pokémon to enter the Dream World. Once on the Global Link website then you will be able to play some minigames with your Pokémon. The minigame are currently unknown. You can even find and befriend other Pokémon in the Dream World.
Another feature is that you can find Pokémon once you are in the Dream World. In the Dream World you will sometimes find Pokémon. These Pokémon usually are not available within the region of Isshu, which therefore are Pokémon from the regions of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh. Once you have befriended these Pokémon you will then be able to enounter them in a certain part of the Isshu region and will be able to capture them.
Growing Berries Berries do not grow in the Isshu region, thus the only way to obtain them is to grow them in the Dream World. Once the berries have finished growing you will be able to send them back to your game. Thanks to Serebii for the image.
Random Matches Once you have signed up on the Global Link website you will then be able to go for Random Matches in the Pokémon Centres. You will also be able to get ranked that is based on your performance and your rankings will appear on the Pokémon Global Link website.
You will also be able to get a variety of downloadable content. Once you are connected to the Global Link you will be able to download special backgrounds for your C Gear, similar to the box wallpapers in the box previous games. You will also be able to download more music for the Pokémon Musical.
