BD=Big Disappointment.

Before I start ranting, let me educate you about my old love for the Twilight series. I read the first chapter of Twilight online before it was out in the bookstores after seeing an ad for it. The first chapter was pretty good and I decided to buy it when it came out. I immediately fell in love with the book. I adored Edward at first. He was amazing. Then I finished Twilight and waited for New Moon to come out. New Moon came out and I hated Edward. He just failed completely in my eyes. Jacob showed me everything I loathed about Edward and loved in him. So ever since New Moon I've hated Edward. Done. Now to move on to Jacob who I adored. Then Eclipse came out. All the Bella/Jacob scenes were amazing. I loved this couple. It was such a taboo. Bella was already in love yet her heart still yearned for another. I knew that the series would end with a Bella/Edward ending. It was just too obvious. I accepted that and just hoped that Meyer would end the series with a clean cut ending leaving Jacob with his ever lasting love for Bella. I wanted him to always watch over her despite being with Edward. Maybe hoping that even though she loved Edward she would still have feelings for Jacob. That's how I wanted it to end...
It didn't happen. It was worse. Way worse.
I got Breaking Dawn and I've been reading it nonstop. From the start of the book I've come to accept that I hate Bella officially. I've never really liked her. She was alright in Twilight but kept going downhill for there. She is a total idiot. I've accepted that, moving on. Then we get to Edward. I've detested the guy since New Moon. I keep reading until finally I get to my sanctuary. Jacob Black's perspective kept me reading. Jacob Black a.k.a, one of the only decent characters Meyer's novels. Until we get to page 306 which was basically murder but I'll get to that later. I always enjoy reading about the pack(Werewolves>Vampires). I grew to love Leah. I felt like I related to her and we were just similar. Gosh, she yelled at Bella about Jacob and made Bella miserable. She did what I would have done considering Bella is an idiot for not loving Jacob more than Edward. Thank you, Leah. It even seemed that Leah would be with Jacob in the end and I was totally fine with that. Seth was great too. You can't help but love the kid. So I was now hoping that maybe Leah and Jacob would be together. Then I read page 360 which also happens to be the last page of Jacob's perspective and end of book two.
It was also the page that KILLED IT ALL.
Sure from the beginning of Breaking Dawn it felt like I was reading a badly written fanfiction. Have you seen how many fanfictions have been written about Twilight? 33,592. It has third place right behind Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter in number of fanfictions. It's ridiculous. The fan base of this series is way out of hand. It's gotten almost Harry Potter crazy(which I also hated the last book of. Gosh. What is with last books?). Having Bella get pregnant was totally out of character. Bella has never been much of a fan of kids nor does she strike me as a motherly type. That and the fact she got pregnant in the first place was "LOL...WHAT?". It was like a fanfiction writer's dream come true. What was even worse was Bella's reaction to the monster inside of her that was killing her. Bella felt she need the baby. It was a necessity to her. The damned thing was killing her! I would have wanted the thing out of me if it was killing me. To fix things, all Bella had to do was drink some blood to get better. Then the baby started breaking her bones. Lovely. Following that out of nowhere, Edward could "talk" to the monster and started to love it with Bella. I was so glad that Jacob was just as disgusted as I was. He seemed like the only character that hadn't lost his mind(aside from Alice and a select few). Then the monster is born which wasn't pleasant. Bella almost dies but you know she can't die just yet, there is still another half of book to fill up with more idiotic stuff. So Jacob is pissed and is planning on destroying the little monster which I hoped he would. Then..."warm brown eyes, the color of milk chocolate-the exact same color that Bella's had been," looked at Jacob. Then something was glowing. Yeah, that's great Meyer, what is glowing? The heat flooding through him? Just because a monster baby looked at him? Can you say creepy? It was then I slammed the book shut and screamed...
"JACOB JUST IMPRINTED ON A MONSTER BABY?!"
That was writing at its worst. Sure, make Jacob fall in love with Bella's BABY to make him forget about his supposedly undying love for the mother. That's great. Good job Meyer. You did not just make me, and I'm sure tons of other people around the world, hate your book. All that build up. All the scenes Bella and Jacob had together just to throw it out the window by making him imprint on a baby for goodness sakes. Isn't that a great way to wrap up the love triangle? Don't we already have a werewolf that imprinted on a child? Quil and Claire wasn't it? Can't you be a little bit more original and come up with something better than THAT NONSENSE? I swear, when I become a part time novelist, I will not do something that stupid. Meyer took a perfectly good character, one of her only good characters might I add, and ruined him. Rolled him up into a paper ball and threw him into a fire, ruined him. It was on page 306 I stopped reading Breaking Dawn. I couldn't take it anymore. I might pick it back up just to see how much worse it gets, because I'm sure it does but as for now I need to cool off before I go back into that s**t-fest.
I'm sure some people enjoyed this book. Especially those who are so obsessed with Edward that they can't see bad writing right in front of them. There are quite a few. I'm looking at you overly obsessed fan girls. As for me, I saw Breaking Dawn for what it's worth and that would be a horribly written novel that seemed rushed, badly written, and a lack of creativeness. She could of handled the situation in so many different ways. Having Jacob Black imprint on Bella's baby was pathetic. The whole "imprinting" thing Meyer came up with disgusts me. Like Jacob pointed out it does limit your options. You can't actually fall in love because once you imprint you only care about one person. That disgusts me. Sam was in love with Leah and then he imprints on Emily and falls out of love with Leah. That's ridiculous. I see a lot of things wrong with Stephenie Meyer's books. Edward is TOO perfect, I can barely relate to her characters, and some characters don't get enough focus and are only called in when it's convenient or when she notices that they've been gone for half the novel. Did Jasper only have one line in the first 300 pages? I can only remember one and it was because he winked which was cute.
I have to ask this. What is with the name Renesmee? It sucks! I'm getting off track. To me the book was very predictable. When Bella kept having dreams about a baby and throwing up I knew she was pregnant as much as I didn't want to. When Jacob went looking for someone to imprint on in the park I knew he was going to imprint on someone soon. I just never thought it would be on a human vampire crossbreed baby.
After poking around the internet a bit a lot, I'm relived to find that I'm not the only one who hated Breaking Dawn. If you happen you read this and agree or even disagree, post why. I'd love to hear it. If you haven't read Breaking Dawn I don't suggest it or stop once you get to page 306. Wikipedia what happens. It'll save you time and money(which I'm still pissed that I spent 22 dollars on the book).

Best quote ever. "Meyer writes about even furniture-wrecking sex with the decorum of a Victorian schoolmistress." Couldn't agree more. It was so boring. I can write a better sex scene than Meyer and I have. http://www.ew.com/ew/video/exclusives?lineupId=1155151521&videoId=1717903074 So worth watching. Gosh SM is an idiot. She keeps trying to sugar coat everything.
In conclusion, Breaking Dawn sucked. The end. ^^
That took forever to write. xD
