~ Dreams built on an illusion
Falls apart with a single blow,
Leaving behind a crying hollow shell of broken bones.
Wails of random memories
Fade away like an apparition,
Taking away with it, the very being of a restless soul.
The shadow at the end of the tunnel disappears
Forsaking the one at the other end,
The one whos lost and now will be forgotten.
A confused mind tries to look for the missing shadow
Failing over and over, only to end up lost alone.
Screams echo through the dark hall
No one hears the pain. Not even the fading stranger at the end of the tunnel.
Walking away realizing, illusions are never meant to be real,
Dreams are never there to feel.
The shadow of the strange figure at the end of the broken road
Merely an illusion was never meant to be followed.
