Since I have lost much of my interest in writing these journal entries, it will not be hard to scroll down this page and find two entries right next to each other titled "watermane" and "watermane...part II" I'm not explaining them again..so if you want any background to this entry..read them..lol
I did not mention that last year's break was during the week of Homecoming..but it was, and just like clockwork, the damned rusted, corroding piece of s**t has, yet again, ruptured during the week of Homecoming. Not that I'm complaining about the day off we're getting tomorrow, but it goes to show you what kind of school I go to. There's a bomb threat entry not far above the watermanes, but luckily, we have yet to experience any of those this year. XD Miracles do, in fact, happen people..
On a totally, but not completely different note, a semi truck came down the road the break was on, and ended up creating this huge titlewave-like spray of water near a bunch of girls who were standing on the corner waiting to cross the street. Hilarious.
Does anyone know if "watermane" is two words or one? Last time, I spelled it with two words, but now I feel like it should be spelled with one..*shrugs*

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I decided to post this now, while Im still in a good mood, and before one (or both) of my parents start whining and complaining about how hard and how much trouble it is to cook and set out all this stuff for dinner. xp I also wanted to post this before the possibility of my computer being hit by a flying object is particularly high due to the fact that we live in the "lions state" and they disgrace football and all we know. My dad has already resorted to yelling several colorful words at Joey Harrington (who, I might add, cannot hear him.. rolleyes ).. and has actually suggested we cook them for Thanksgiving.. eek the only next possible step is to destroy the tv itself.. xp
Listen now, because the next time I'll be this sentimental will probably be Christmas..GIVE THANKS DAMMIT!!
Seriously though..at least think about what you have, and then think about those who have next to nothing: barely any food, clothes, and a shelter (which is probably too good a name for some "shelters" I've seen) that can barely stand up against a simple rainshower or windy day.
Think of your friends and family (even though siblings and parents may drive you up the freaking wall time to time..or all the time..think where you would be and what you would be like without them..) that surround you, and then think about orphans or kids (or even adults) who have lost almost everything in the events that have taken place in the last few years: 9/11, tsumanis, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, and wars, and then realize how good you have it.
While you're preparing to eat the turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, pie, and whatever else you have conveniently placed right in front of you, think about those who don't. Think about the soldiers who are currently fighting just so that we can be able to possess all that we do, and be thankful. Genuinely thankful..because who knows what could happen in your life, or all our lives, in a matter of seconds to change all that we know right now.
"We don't realize what we have until we lose it." This statement could not be truer. Think about it. If you suddenly lost all that you held near and dear to you, would you not sit there and mentally castigate yourself for not cherishing it while you still had the chance? I sure as hell would. And to those of you who are my friends: close, slightly distant now, or possibly not even known to me as of yet, I am thankful for you, and your presence in my life. Unbeknownst to you, but you have all aided me in someway, whether helping me become who I am now, or helping me when I needed it, and I am thankful for it.
I am, however, not thankful for the Lions. stare
heart HAPPY THANKSGIVING! heart

Yesterday we had the second bomb threat since school started. We were in lockdown within about the first 10 minutes of first hour until about half way into third hour. They called in the police and the dogs and searched our school for suspicious packages, items, and whatnot..and our school ended up being on the news. Why is it that our school finds it safer to keep the kids inside when someone threatens to blow the whole damn building to smitherenes? You tell me..
Anyway..the police didn't find anything and we were allowed to "resume our normal daily routines" in the immortal words of Principal Loves To Hear Himself Talk, and for the rest of the day we did indeed "resume our normal daily routines" with the added plus of listening to pointless rumors being spread, none of which could be proven, I might add. stare
Then we come to school today..
Not even 15 minutes into first hour and Principal Loves To Hear Himself Talk comes on the P.A. announcing that "students and teachers we are in another lockdown situation." Turns out that the (demented a*****e) person who called in yesterday or one of his (demented a*****e) friends called in another bomb threat..
Although we were not in lockdown for nearly as long (and I did, infact, have to take my math test that I missed the previous day), it's still burning my freaking rope.
~ First of all, if you really were demented enough to blow up the freaking school and everyone inside, why would you call up the police and say "Hey, I'm planning on blowing up the high school today, just so you guys know in case you maybe wanted to get here as quickly as possible?"
~Second, although Im all in favor of missing half of first hour and all of second hour to take a nap during lockdown, it's getting old. I, for one, am not exactly in favor of spending the whole year in lockdown for the first hour of school. Sooner or later, the police will find who's doing it, and they will take action. Im getting the impression that the kid doing this thinks that this is all fun and games and that he can piss off the entire city in this manner for as long as he pleases.
~Third, this is doing nothing for the safety of our school and the kids (certain teachers included) inside. People are already questioning the procedures taken by our school, and if this keeps going, no one will take these lockdowns seriously anymore..Even though I, myself am not in favor of (Incarcerating us inside the school to meet a horrible, painful death if it does blow) the lockdowns, they're there so that we can be safe (I think that's what one of my teachers tried to convince me of) in this sort of situation. If no one takes these seriously, (and the one time they don't, it will happen) and someone does blow up the school, more people could be >insert painful death/wound here< (I was thinking of something along the lines of burned alive/maimed).
And although I would love to keep ranting to you about the problems in our school/city, I don't think it's safe to be outside anymore because there's probaby a sniper on the roof trying to kill us all.. stare
EDIT: We are now up to 7 bomb threats (according to my sources)

So apparently our piece of s**t school was too far gone for the poor water mane workers..yesterday I told you people who constantly tune in to All My Kristina that quote unquote..
Quote: So our piece of s**t school finally gave way and ruptured a water mane.. Maybe if we're lucky (which we aren't) they'll rupture a gas line (which they won't) while trying to fix the water mane and we wont have to go back tomorrow (wich we will)..
I was right on two counts. We are not lucky (for the most part..this excludes today), and they did not rupture a gas line while working on the water mane.. they did, however fail to fix the water mane, hence my presence here..right now..
The day's events will be as follows: ~computer (that's a new one, ne? xd ) ~sleep (depending.) ~eat (like I need more of that..) ~watch tv and be a lazyass..( I was going to go without parentheses on this one, but where's the fun in that?) ~ghost hunting later.. ninja
Hell yes..the pillows..^_^

On another note..it's like the perfect day over here, so Im actually going to get out of the computer chair (an amazing feat indeed, I know) and go do something outside.
My cat is meowing at the furniture and the light keeps turning on and off in my family room.. xp Things are just so much fun in my house, ne?
