It's been one whole year.
All 12 months where so much has changed, but really it has all stayed the same.
One year ago today I worked backstage at a festival.
One year ago today I worked with 2 other guys.
One year ago today I worked in the darkness.
One year ago today I listened to jazz all day.
One year ago today I liked a girl named Kayla.
365 days ago, and just a few hours ago, I worked backstage to set up equipment for other bands to perform. I worked with two other guys, both of them I knew were single, and as the months passed they went out with women and went through some breakups, 12 months later they are single again. I worked backstage, and to add more affect to the performance, all the lights were dimmed except for the lights on the band, so I worked in total darkness. Because I worked backstage, I sat through all of the great performances, and some of the not-so-great performances, listening to them all day long.
The last item I kinda lied about..
Last year I liked a girl named Kayla who put me through a big depression.
Now I love this beautiful, smart, and funny woman who's name also happens to be Kayla. She is making me the happiest I've ever been in my life.

It's better to be left alone
Than to be surrounded by people who make you feel alone.
When you ask someone what's wrong and they say it's nothing,
The word "it" takes place of the problem, meaning that there IS something wrong.
