A lot of heart ache has been happening lately and today while I was in the shower {random place I know} I started thinking about things. Mostly about the word "Click". I've heard it used by a good friend on mine, mostly speaking about him and girls he's liked in the past: "i dont no what it was but i just clicked with her and ive liked her"
But what does this word "clicked" mean??
v. clicked, click·ing, clicks Slang 1. To be a great success: The play clicked on Broadway. 2. To function well together; hit it off. 3. To become clear; fall into place.
click To connect, relate, hit it off with someone. When I first met her, we just clicked, and we're best friends now.
But, does "hitting it off" with someone mean you're really destined to be with that person? That's kind of what I thought of when my friend said it but I surely hope not. If it was I'd still be with my ex, and I don't really want that. Sure, you can get along with someone right from the beginning but that doesn't mean that you are going to live happily ever after.
The Different Sides of people Certain people want to see me solely as a pop act, but there are many different sides to Christina Aguilera besides the pop girl.
There are many different sides of people; some that you see, some that you don't. Like Nick Lachey said "No two people are the same, there are going to be areas where you just don't click." First impressions are a huge factor in how you see that person for the rest of your knowing them. Even if you meet someone and you click right away, there will always be some areas where you just don't mesh. They may seem awesome, but no one's perfect. Not to burst the bubble of "Love at first sight", it is possible to find a person and just fit perfectly with them; but it's rare. It depends on you and this person and what and how big the differences are. If your differences aren't that big in the scheme of things then that's great! But, I've seen other cases where one person is hiding a big problem from their special someone. That can cause issues in relationships and sooner or later it's going to come out. Sure you can get along with someone right off the bat, but you won't know if you're really destined to be until you know each other a lot better.
“Love at first sight is possible, but it's always a good idea to take a second look”
I've had my share of "clicks" with people, a lot of them are still my friends and maybe ex boyfriend's. I believe that you can find your "soul mate" or "true love", but love at first sight doesn't really work. Just means you're shallow sorry to say. How can you really know that you love them by just looking at them?
