Blake woke up with a groan, what a graceful way to wake up. One of her older brothers, looking like a twin with her, was shaking her furiously. He was trying to wake her up, but it took a few moments of shaking before she opened her eyes "You have to get up!" He yelled before leaving the room. At first the blond girl was confused. Now why did she have to get up early? Then it dawned on her and a bright grin plastered on her face. She gasped in surprised and quickly rolled out of her small bed, standing on her feet on short height. She giggled a bit and grabbed her outfit, a black shirt with a rather rock-ish feel and some dark colored blue jeans, before slipping into the bathroom. She took the quickest shower she had ever taken and even took a shorter amount of time getting ready. She put on light makeup, not really bothering with how her face looked. It was pretty flawless, but that never stopped her from criticizing it. She didn't bother with the mirror battle today, just hurried down stairs for breakfast.
Once at the table, she got assaulted by questions from her male dominate family. She just laughed and answered calmly, rather use to this. Even when the food was out the table wasn't silent. It was as if her brothers were more excited than her. Her dad looked a bit annoyed and Blake's blue eyes gazed at him "What is wrong?" He answered by saying he didn't like the idea of her going to a big city. She just grinned and stood, being done with her breakfast, and moved over to him. She gave him a peck on the cheek and said "I will call you every day if that makes you feel better." With that she moved once again back up stairs and into her bedroom. Once inside, she slid to her closet and pulled out a suit case. It was already packed but she forgot a few things. She zipped it open and took a look at her clothes before moving to her end table. She opened the cabinet and pulled out her run down album. The cover looked like it got beat with a meat cleaver, but she still adored it as if it was a loved pet. She wrapped the delicate thing with a sheet before slipping it on top of her clothes. She then looked back at her end table to grab...her camera? It wasn't there. Her eyes widened in utter shock and her heart dropped. Why hadn't she noticed it wasn't there? She growled like a tiger and moved out of her bed room "Where is it?" She called out to her brothers
Of course she heard laughter and this made Blake slide down the stairs and moved back to the dining room. Each of the brothers had a guilty look of their own glued to their faces. She groaned and moved to one of them, poking at him in annoyance. "Where...Is...My...Camera?" He just shrugged and laughed. The furthest one from her, and the tallest, suddenly took off running. Ignoring the yells from her father, she chased after him. She was faster and managed to catch up to him. She grabbed her arm and jerked him back "Where is it?????" He just laughed and pointed up to a ceiling fan. There is was, her old Polaroid camera, dangling from its black strap on a blade of a still ceiling fan. Being 5' 3", she had no hopes of reaching it. "Ugh!!!!" She yelled and punched her brother hard. He yelped and grabbed the camera for him. She yanked it out of his hands and put her 'baby' on like a necklace, the strap laying gently on her neck. She moved yet again up these stairs more slowly and took her suitcase back down.
After a quick hussle into the car, her dad drove her at a pretty fast speed to the airport. Once there, Blake was quick to say her goodbyes and grab her suitcase out of the trunk. Of course she paused, a trance like look on her face. This always happened right before she took a picture. She carefully lifted the camera and took a shot of a random sign. This looked odd but the lighting from the sun made the sign give off an eerie glow, as if inviting her in. She took the picture out of its slot and slipped it into a pocket on her bag. She would put it in later. She gripped the handle and rolled with the bag into the airport.
After going through the procedure, and very boring flight, she took a gaze around. Where was she suppose to go? That was when she saw a blond girl and another guy with more brown hair at the gate she was in. That had to be it. She didn't bother with the embarrassment of being wrong, instead she bounced up to them and gave them her brightest and most polite grin "Hello!" She greeted the two.
