There is a prophecy that states a girl from the village Maktakagura will take hold of the non mythical world, and so our story begins.
The village had gathered for a meeting discussing the prophecy.
"Lord Kidon what are we going to do about the prophecy"?
"I don't know we have already restricted the girls old enough to leave the village from going into the forest. It is the dragons we have to worry about they keep laying their eggs closer to the village border".
"Hmpf why does it only have to be girls"? A voice from the back calls.
"DO YOU WANT OUR WORLD TO GO UNDER ONE RULER THAT WOULD BE TERRIBLE"!?
"No I just want the power". He wimpers.
"Of course you do". I say and sigh
Suddenly the air was stirred by the sound of wings and a gray dragon landed in the center of the meeting in front of Lord Kidon.
"Who is the leader of this village"? The dragon asks in a formal tone.
"I am Lord Kidon and I am the leader of this village". I say trying to sound brave.
The dragon looks down and glares at Kidon.
"I would like all the girls old enough to come to this meeting to step forward". The dragon sighs "all the girls present that are younger than 16 years old".
There is a long pause and finally only three girls are standing. Since the girls have to be older than 12 to attend the meeting and a year older to come of their own will most were finishing up the days chores.
"Good" the dragon smiles at them "now tell me your names, and ages, nothing else".
The girl in the center steps forward and looks around nervously. "My name is Serena..I..I am 15 years old".
The dragon nods.
The girl on the left steps forward. "My name is...Rena...and I am 13 years old".
The dragon stares down at the third girl"and you"?
The girl steps forward and says boldly."My name is Kari and I am 14 years old".
"Kari get back here this instent " my father says "you are not allowed to go".
The dragon swings his head around and glares at Lord Kidon. "The girl is coming with me" the dragon growls "don;t worry two will be sent back but one in this group" and he sweaps his tail over our heads "will fullfill the prophecy". He turns back to us "go" and we walk out of the village without looking back.
