I just got news of a friend's father passing away.
Of course it's a harsh thing to hear about. She is a very good friend, so obviously I'd like to say something meaningful, something that will take all the pain away.
But I can't. I'm not good enough.
I cannot even find the correct words to say to her, so she knows I'm with her. If not physically, in spirit.
What can you say that'll make any difference to her?
I can only pray that she'll be OK. And ask that whomever might read this, will do so as well.
And perhaps, while reading this, you'll say "Hey! But I don't believe in God!"
Well, i say to you, do it anyways. It cannot hurt, can it?
