I'm sick and tired of hearing my girl friends going on and on and on about how much they want a boyfriend! About who they like and how they wish he'd notice them. Listen, I know how much you ADORE him now but in a couple of months, you're gonna' move on to the next best thing! And, if fate wanted it to be, believe me, he'd be ALL over you!! Be yourself! That's it! Don't try to be Bimbo Barbie! I mean, seriously, just go with the effing flow. It really ain't that hard! You don't need a man in your life to tell you that you're successful, beautiful, talented so on and so forth. I mean, sure, it can be nice to hear once in a while, but, you KNOW that you are those things so act it! If you walk around so desperate for his attention, he's just gonna' play you, thinkin' "I got this girl in the palm of my hand" Hold your head held high, walk like you're the s**t 'cause you damn well are and NO ONE and I mean NO ONE is going to tell you otherwise. Don't look down. Don't be like "I'm not pretty" You know, to those simple crushes you have, you may not appear beautiful to him but his best friend, or even just random cute guy walking will be like "Oh my God. She's simply gorgeous! I wish she would notice a guy like me..." If you don't think about it, it will happen sooner or later. Sure, sometimes I wonder if a guy would like me but I just focus on what I need to accomplish and I really don't need a distraction such as dating. It will be nice when I get older, but, really, first relationships, hardly last. Especially in High School. This is where we're starting to grow. :SIGH: It's just pissing me off. It feels like all my friends are talking about it. It would be really nice to have an intelligent conversation once in a while; sure I act like a goof during lunch, but, ya know, I sometimes would like to have a serious discussion about society, poverty, maybe things occurring with politics. It'd be nice. I have so much opinions but as soon as I open my mouth "OMG! Can you believe they're going out?!" Great... mad
