He sat down at her feet and pulled at her skirt (the same skirt that he could look up now that he was sitting down) and tried to get her to sit with him. After a quite delayed response, she sat down next to him, trying to sit on a rock so her skirt wouldn't get dirty. She stretched her legs out and leaned back on her elbows just like Devon was doing. "We have approximately...25 minutes left." "You can do a lot in 25 minutes." "Yeah?" He asked, leaning over onto his side to see her. "Yeah." She looked over at him and tried to imitate the look he had given her while they were still on the bike. He reached over and brushed her cheek, looking as if he were about to kiss her. He stayed there, seeing that she had frozen now aware of the situation and waited for his next move. His hand stayed on her cheek like he was thinking, but he was just letting it sink in. Just as he planned, she started leaning towards him and he rolled over on top of her. While he was laughing, she was punching his chest saying something about how she was dirty now. He could hear her laugh though. "Get off of me!" "Make me." He said, proud he was much bigger than her. "You know I can't do that. Get off! I'm getting dirty." "Never!" He smiled, and made the face again. The same one she had tried to imitate. "Unless." He stretched out his words, taunting her. Abby sighed and stopped pounding at his chest. "I give. Unless what?" "Unless you tell me what you thought I was doing." "Don't worry, you can sit on me. I'm getting quite comfy. I can get another tardy. Can you?" Devon rolled his eyes. "Cheater!" He stayed there, leaning forward so she had to lean back. "I'll get you next time too. This is not over." "Yeah, yeah." Devon got up and stuck out his hand to her. Abby stared at it as if questioning whether or not to take it or not. She decided to take it and grabbed his hand with a firm grip. He was about to start pulling her up when he felt a tug and went forward, just barely catching himself before he fell on his face. Abby got up and looked proud of herself. "That should teach you. You won the battle, but I'll win the war!" She flounced around having fun. Devon rolled over so he wasn't on his chest. "Yeah, yeah okay." He got up and dusted himself off. "You're still the cheater." He muttered softly. Abby started doing a little jig and if she was more coordinated, it would have been cool. Since she wasn't, it looked cute instead. He smiled and walked over to her. "C'mon. You're going to make me late. Now we have to speed back." He smiled, pleased with himself. "Fine, but I'm not running anymore. That took a lot out of me." "I could tell." Abby walked beside Devon on their walk back to the bike. She bumped his him and smiled over at him. He gently returned the gesture and after no time they were swaying together as they walked.
