5 more sleeps until I get to visit home again. This is the longest I've gone without seeing my family. It sure is tough but Christmas will mean that much more now. I only recently got into the holiday spirit. Why? Because everywhere you go, there's some sort of twisted image of the holiday itself. A man in a red suit dancing and singing on battery power? Tiny little men dressed in green with pointy hats and shoes manufacturing toys faster than you can spell the word 'happiness'? Whatever happened to the true meaning of Christmas? No, I am not Christian, I am just a person that can see how tainted this holiday really is. It was once about the birth of a savior, a messiah, one chosen to save mankind from its inevitable sins. cheese_whine Oh well. What can you do?
