Once upon a time, there lived a little girl, her name was Lucy. She had one father, her mother died from a dreadful disease. Her father was a miner, he made little money to support the family. Lucy was born as a beautiful, kind and charming young lady.

One day, her father came home happily. 'Lucy! I have something exciting to tell you!' he said happily. Lucy hurried to his father's side. 'You're going to have a mother! Isn't that exciting? Not to mention, you'll have one beautiful stepsister!' he exclaimed. 'A mother? But father, you only have little money, how will you support this family?' asked Lucy. Her father was furious. Thinking that Lucy would be jealous over her future stepsister. 'SPEAK NO MORE! Your future stepmother is wealthy, that's the reason why I wanted to marry her. She proposed to me, and you know how poor we are, I need to marry her to have enough money to feed us both.' he explained. Lucy have no choice but to give in.

'LUCY! WHERE IS MY TEA?' shouted Alice. 'Coming, Alice.' said Lucy. It's been 2 years since Lucy's father married to the wealthy woman. Her name was Geneveive. For short, Gene. Alice was her only daughter. Her daughter was a lazy yet unkind girl. She was 2 years older than Lucy. Alice was very jealous of Lucy's beauty. So was her mother. Gene always let Lucy do the hard work, hoping that she'll become uglier, but she became even more beautiful. While Alice, the lazy girl she is, become more uglier and uglier day by day.

One day, Gene and Alice figured out a plan. They decided to let Lucy to go in the Forest of Doom. 'The witch that lives in the forest will certainly kill her!' said Gene happily. 'That way, no one can be more gorgeous that I am!' exclaimed Alice.

In the afternoon, Alice set out her plan. 'Lucy, can you please go in the Forest of Doom and help me pick out some wild flowers? I need them for my new dress. Please, Lucy?' begged Alice. 'Sure!' she said. Lucy walked in the forest, with a basket in hand. After a while, she saw an elf! It was struggling to get out of a trap set out by the witch! Lucy helped the little elf, the elf was very grateful. It gave Lucy some wild flowers that she requested, however, in return, she must marry the elf. Lucy had no choice but to give in. 'But, let me see my father one more time. I'll marry you tomorrow.' she said.

The next day, Lucy married the elf. After Lucy kissed him, to her surprise, the elf turn to a handsome prince! 'Thank you for marrying me! The witch in this forest once cast a spell on me, only a woman as kind as you can turn me back. Let's go back to my castle, to live our days away.' said the prince.

Then, Lucy lived happily ever after.
