Spending most of my time in the Exchange part of gaia I have learned many things. Not only is it a challenge to get more money, but it's also filled with drama and broken dreams.

There are a couple of catagoies of people in the Exchange.

1."N00bs"
2. "3xc|-|4ng3 w|-|or3z"
3."Bumpers"
4. "Exchange Whores"

These spieces I feel are not finished and I have not become satisfied with my work. Let us start off from the top.

1. "N00bs" As you have seen from the chatterbox, some of these animals decide to spread out and discover new things on Gaia. One of the places some of them may stumble on to is the Exchange. Here you may every now and then see one of these "N00bs" post "rate my avatar plx" Or "Gimmie money plz" (sometimes without the please). These people are not harmless, just confused. So it would be best to safely direct them back to the chatterbox or show them the way of the Exchange so that one day they may join the other Exchangers.

2. "3xc|-|4ng3 w|-|or3z" This is what I would call the people who have the small cheaper items of gaia. They spend most of thier time in the Exchange like a regular "Exchange Whore", but doesn't have what it takes to make it big. This is usually a step up from the "N00b". These creatures aren't harmless unless they are able to rip you off.

3."Bumpers" These are the people who stay in the exchange so they can bump other fellow Exchangers. Everynow and then these people will have a sale, but will not overstock on items like the "3xc|-|4ng3 w|-|0r3z", but will also gladly take your money and items. These people also enter the bumping contest some threads may hold with wonderous prizes; such as gold and donation items. These little fellows aren't harmless, just usually bored and looking for some gold.

4."Exchange Whores" Finally the top of the top, it's the "Exchange Whores". These little devils have made gaia a part of thier life from the year 2003. At least most of them have, while others are lucky from donations. These are the people who make the Exchage happen, not to mention thier home. These critters are normally very rich and seem to know who's in who's place in the Exchange. They seem to interact with each other very well, and well I would have to say these are the creatures that create the drama and excitement in the Exchange. I'm quite happy to say that some of them have inspired me to continue my venture on studying the habits of gaia. Though I would have to say I was almost lost there for a while.

Seeing as the Chatterbox was the source of all randomness in gaia, I would have to say the Exchange brings up a lot of feelings for people. Deep down inside people know that thier avatar and items are only pixels, but at times, the pixels can get to one's head.
