Twas the night before Christmas
For all to enjoy
Every person was snoring
Every girl and every boy
Little boy Jimmy
Awoke from his bed
As he heard jingling bells
On th roof above his head
Wiping his tired eyes
He walked out to see
Jolly old Saint Nick
Putting presents under his tree
With a wiggle of his nose
He was back on the roof
But little Jimmy heard
The trample of reindeer hoof
The jolly old man
With a big, hearty laughter
Exclaimed "Have a merry Christmas!
And Happy New Year soon after!"
