My Safe Haven

• Description: I wrote this poem out on the balcony of my house it was one of the most beautifull nights I have ever seen. I am 13 years old and stay in a small village but I have never seen so many stars in the sky or took notice if there had been before.

I look up at the sky in the dark of the night.
The stars and the moon serve as my only light.
I think of our world a glorious creation,
then think of us humans of our evolution.

Very soon I am lost in my thoughts.
Stuck in a maze I really am lost.
I ran for miles, but never really moved.
never giving up, for feeling I am safe soon.

So I stopped running, ranting and raving.
Thought peacefully of my own safe haven.
I think of the stars and the moonlight.
Just the way they sparkle, lighting the night
Very soon I am out of harms way.
Thanking the stars for showing the way.
