The time has come for things to change. Slowly, over that past few weeks, I have dealt with the death of my beloved dog. And I have learned to move on. Little things still remind me of him and I cherish those few moments. But that previous page has been up for too long. It's time to leave the past, and make way for the future. My life, my emotions, my perceptions of the world, are all changing as I struggle to achieve what it is that I desire. So shall the purpose of this journal change. I don't care who sees it. From now on this journal is the embodiment of my musings, my pent up emotions, and a testament to my journey and the path I walk, constantly pushing myself towards my dreams and desires. It is my path marker, and the writings of a man that drove himself crazy to become the only one who is truly sane.

and a journal like this would definitely still be a great way to flex your creative muscle...even though you are not making up 'stories' so to speak, you are still conveying things that others are not feeling...and in a way this is it's own story all together...
