We both gasped as Rhyns groaned softly and stretched lazily across the bed. He slowly raised his hands to face to rub it fervently. "Rhyns!" Anako gasped as he swiftly moved to his side. He took his arms and gently pulled him so he was seated up right. "Yeah? That's me." Rhyns said quietly, his mirth back with a vengence. I felt my sick body lighten and the pain momentarily flee. "Oh Rhyns! I thought we may have lost you!" I shout, scrambling over to him. He embraced me back as I threw my arms around him. I felt the tears of joy stinging my eyes I leaned back from him. He too was crying. Did he realize his mania and catatonic state? Did he see how dead he was? "I'm back." He whispered, taking both of us in his warm arms. "And by golly, did I miss you guys." He laughed, nuzzeling against Anako's neck. "I missed you as well." Anako admidted and sat on the edge of the bed. "What happened to you?" I asked, leaning in. "I-I'm not.... really sure...." He said his eyes staring unseeingly over my shoulder. "I was lost.... but then... They found me. They brought me back." He said sighing and closing his eyes. I looked to Anako and nodded. Sozo had done her job. She had restored Rhyns' mind and cured him any ill effects that might have lingered from his resurection. Anako nodded back and stood up. He patted Rhyns on the head and planted a delicate kiss on the top of it. "I have some bussiness to take care of." Lariel. "I'll be back later." He said and quickly left. "He's glad you're back. He's been moping around since you feel ill." I said lowly, stretching my back and shoulders as I moveed to stand. "Yeah..." I looked over to find him staring into space. The catatonic state?! Was he truely not cured? Was he cursed to be forever ill because of us?! "Rhyns!?" I shouted, panic ceizing my voice as grabbed his shoulder. He jerked and turned to me, his face painted with confusion and perplexion. I could see his face change into alarmed as he looked at my face. I sighed with relief. I could feel my heart aching with strain. At this rate Rhyns was going to kill me. "I thought we lost you again there for a second." I said and stood, spinning on my toes and skipping to the door. "You coming?" I asked as I spun at the door again. "For somebody so old you sure are graceful." he sighed and flicked aside the thin sheet and stood. He staggered slightly and lauhed weakly. "Wow, I'm so stiff!" He laughed, stretching and kicking his legs as he relearned to move. He had been in this catatonic state for almost a week. Anako had tried everything to wake him but nothing was physically wrong with him. It was good that Lariel found Sozo when he did, else Anako would have been no more. I wonder if in his next life he'll remember this? Will he be able to look back at these memories and decide weither or not this was the correct path? Some times that is very hard to decide. We've caused so much grief to this young soul. I looked back to Rhyns. He looked thoroghly focused on his stretches. He was well trained in these sort of things. He noticed me staring and smiled widely. "I'll bet I look funny." He said and bounded towards me. He took my arm, hooking his own in mine and start to skip off, dragging me along. I laughed and started up also. 'How about we go out and get some fresh air and fine food?" I purpose, resting on the sofa as Rhyns skipped on to the window. "Erm..." He smiled sheepishly at me, looking very indescive. "I'll pay." He perked but teetered by the window. He smiled and decided and smiled at me. "That would be great. I need to get out of here. It's stifeling." he said and scurried off to his room to change out his thin night shirt. I nodded in agreement at his back. This place was starting to close in on me. The walls were looking closer and closer together every day. The lack of spirit in here was starting to suck out mine as well. I ran my hand through my silver tresses and bent back against the couch. Gods I was stiff. My whole body was begining to feel like a statue. I was feeling sick now. Little waves of nausia were begining to crash against my mind. I doubled over, wrapping my arms around my knees. I don't know how long I stayed like that but it felt like an eternity passed before a soft, dainty hand landed on my back and slowly rubbed circles on my back. I looked up into Rhyns' face. He was such the angel. he was sweet, caring, even if he was a bit devilish. He was so like me. "You alright?" He asked, his eyes full of geniune concern. I nodded, my breath stolen by the cement lungs that somebody had replaced mine with. I coughed and weezed, wincing slightly in pain. However the cement around my lungs was fresh and thin, it flaked away, allowing me to breath. "You okay, Hyiru?" Rhyns asked, sliding one of my arms over his shoulder and supporting me. "Yeah... juct a little dust in the ol' lungs." I managed a weak smile and pushed him away. "I can walk just fine." He narrowed his eyes in suspicion but let it go. He nodded for me to go first. I smiled and started out the door. As we exited the building I felt the strange putrid air of the industrilized city. The air was not much comfort. "You okay?" He asked some how inately knowing that I was ill at ease here. "It's the air here, it's thick." I said but smiled and laughed. "But i'll live!" Rhyns seemed to drift away at that. "Hey! Do you have a restaurant we want to go to?" I shouted loudly, snapping him from his memories. He look blankly at me for a moment then checked his wristwatch. "Yeah, lets go visit Anako! He's really awesome at throwing fire around!" He shout jovially and clapping his hands. "Okay! let's go watch Anako!" I agreed and we sprinted off. It all seemed to be in slow motion. I felt the air fall on me, crushing my frame. It sliced through my joints, rendering me unmoving. The little air in my lungs was foreced out, my lungs felt like they were exploding with in me. I cried out in pain and dropped to the ground. My vision blurred and my heart raced. It was time. I was dying. "Hyiru!?" Rhyns shouted at me, but he sounded so distant. "Hyiru!?" I seen a blur of purple in my vision. "You are my... heir." I managed to choke out. I grabbed the front of his jacket and pulled him closer. "You are me. I am you." I murmured, my lungs failing and my heart slowing. I pressed my forehead to his and gasped loudly as everything left me. I felt empty and blank. I felt completely broken. I felt dead.
