As we were finally getting closer to the Shadowfire family Castle I notice that I seen something or someone out the corner of my eye. But as I look there was no one there. “What is it?” Liam asked in his normal caring voice. As I still stared at the spot I answered him “Nothing, Liam.” I looked down and sighed noticing that the smell of the horses was making me hungry. I fed very little yesterday. Wanted to keep that poor man alive, I knew he had children. “When we get to the castle I’m going to the village and fed.” Looking at Blaise as I said this wasn’t a good idea. He frowned at me having the idea about feeding on a human again, but how can I help it. Men’s blood taste so sweet and fragrant I just can’t help it. Finally Blaise spoken up, “We will stop for a short break. The horses are getting weary.” As I got off my horse I fell on my bottom. *Dang it* I though as I rubbed my lower back. *Why does this happen to me?* Looking around I seen no one noticed my little fall so as normal I got up and tied my horse up. “I’m going hunting. I’m too thrust to wait.” The boys nodded as I walked into the woods for some wild game.
Walking through this thick terrain and finding prey will be difficult. *I want a raccoon.* I thought. They are the easiest thing to catch that is big enough to last me a few days. “Well this will be a long journey. What the Hell was that damn Apollo thinking!” I said very angrily to myself a loud. I was so mad. Thinking about the one I’m closes to being taken away from me. Looking up at the sky I was able to tell I have been walking around for about an hour. *I wondered if they have began to look for me yet?* I smiled, something I don’t normally do anymore. A cracking noise broke the silence of nature and I turned. I noticed a beautiful woman about my age. 15, she looks 15. I ran quietly behind a tree and watched carefully. *She’s an angel.* The woman’s golden wings flapped where they were. A strange light began to glow forming a clear circle and she spoke into it. “Diana reporting.” There was a silence and she spoke again. “Yes the deed is done. Elder Shadowfire and his wife was put in to the death state.” Another silence, I couldn’t take this. Elder Shadowfire is my grandfather. I must help him but something made me stay. “No, Gabriella was not there yet.” Did my Grandparents suffer because of me? This thought scared me a lot. I don’t want the one’s I love to suffer. “Yes I know Ella’s the key.” Key? What key? What the hell is she talking about?
That thought hit me hard. Am I that important that I would get my family hurt? As I thought this the woman finished up. I finally hear the voice behind the clear circle. “You must find Ella. Kill anyone in your path.” The voice didn’t sound familiar, it was a woman’s voice not Uncle’s. I turned and darted back to the camp site worried about the other two. *They might be strong but Diana’s power is much stronger.* As I was almost out of the woods I slammed in to Liam. “Ellie what’s wrong? Your crying.” The tears streamed down my face involuntary. I looked up at him and for the first time I wanted him to hug me. I grasp him and tried to speak but nothing came out. Smiling at me in a loving way he picked me up and took me to the camp.
Even after over 30 minutes I was still crying. I had explained everything to Blaise-sama and Liam. They were still pondering what to do next. “It could be a trap.” Liam suggested. “Yes it could be but less likely. Their main goal I assume is for Ellie to still be alive.” Blaise-sama stated this in many of our battles, but sometimes he was right. *I really wish they would stop using my childhood name* Finally I got tired of waiting. “Rather you two are going or not is no concern to me. It’s my grandparents’ life you are toying with. I’m leaving.” Well I guess that was all that had to be done because after that we were on the horses going to Shadowfire Castle. As my white mare trotted faster I remembered something that my mother had said. ‘Nana has a book that will help you with your spells. You will need that book to defeat Apollo.’ “The book!” Leigh looked at me funny as she was a cheetah running right next to me. I looked at her and answered her what she wanted to know. “Mother told me about a powerful book one time. It contains spells of all the elements plus healings. The book is what I will need to defeat Uncle.”
Coming to the clearing I could see my second home and in no time I was off my horse and running in to the castle not hearing the boys’ warnings. I walked in and saw a sight I never wanted to see. Blaise-sama putting his hand on my shoulder to comfort me.
