I wish that it never happened
I wish I could forget
These memories will always haunt me
There's no button that says 'reset'

My love was so young
I didn't think that it would hurt
To trust so much in someone
But I should have stayed alert

One day she come up to me
She said I should back off
I calmly asked her why
And this was her reply:

"Because he loves me
Can't you see?
You waited too long
He thinks you're temporary"

I asked him if he loved her
His words will always sting in my heart
His reply was short
And this is how it starts:

"My love for her is true
This love will never die"
And then he left me alone
With all these tears in my eyes

Looking back now I see
That he is not meant for me
So I will keep searching for
My 'Love Forevermore'

I will always stay patient
Until the one I find is loyal
Knowing that once my 'knight in shining armor'
Was just a loser in tin foil
