Yeah!!
The orchestra MPA's were yesterday~!
For those of you who don't know what the MPA's are:::
The MPA's are on a specific date at the near end of the school year. It's when chorus/band/orchestra go to a high school {in this case, it was Jefferson High}, and are judged by three judges on how well they do. The rankings are...
Supirior~ The best.
Excellent~ Pretty great. Could be better.
Good~ Not as good as it could be, needs some work.
Fair~ Not very good, needs some more work.
Poor~ Not good at all, needs alot of work.
Now that you know what MPA's are, I can tell you the rest of the story xD;;
Aw'right!
So, we were alowed to skip 5th, 6th, and 7th period to practice for the MPA's. That was fun~
Then, after school ended, I stayed after with my friends to practice more and have more fun :B
We left to have dinner, and ended up going to Moe's 8D
I love that place now.
It's way better than freaking Taco Bell xP
Anyways, after Moe's and about five cookies {funny story}, we all loaded up and left for Jefferson High School.
When we got there, we had to wait, so everyone was chatting...
Then, we got called into the practice room to practice for about twenty minutes.
After that, we went onto the stage, and played our f***ing hearts out, man!!
Then, we went into the sight-reading room.
For those who don't know:::
Sight-reading is just a fancy compound word for playing music you've never seen before for the first time, and there's a judge to see how well you do.
We did great on the sight-reading; the one judge in that room loved us.
So! After aaaaall of thaaaaat....
Mrs. Cottet got the final scores.
We got....
Straight Supiriors on EVERYTHING!!
We were so amazingly happy, everyone was giving everyone else high-fives and hugs.
Some of them even cried :B
I didn't, because I'm not that sensitive...
But still!!
It ROCKED!!
