You try to pretend
try to decieve
so I may be happy one more day.
But all of these lies
are piling up
and I'm slowly fading away.

How much longer
can you pretend
and try to make me glad?
You'll start to see the cracks
splitting apart my heart
and everything will turn out bad.

I tried to save myself
from slipping away
but I was already gone.
I can't get myself back
can't mend this broken heart
what did I do wrong?

You've shattered my dreams
while trying to make me joyful
and that's something I can't forgive.
